Partners
Who commissions our work
Four categories, each with a different requirement and a different tolerance for uncertainty.
Political foundations
Need assessments that hold up in public debate and in parliamentary questioning. Confidence levels and declared limitations matter as much as the finding itself.
Federal ministries
Need findings that can be cited in an internal position without exposing a source, and that state plainly where the record stops.
Implementing agencies
Need indicators that support planning under conditions that change faster than a report cycle, and a clear signal when an indicator has moved.
Research institutes
Need the method as well as the result: the sources, the triangulation, and the version of the methodology under which the work was produced.
Avesta has not yet released a list of named partners. Institutions are named here only with their written agreement.
AWG, DSGVO, and EU sanctions compliance
Terms of cooperation
- Every engagement is screened against AWG, DSGVO, and the EU sanctions regime before it is accepted. An engagement that cannot be screened clean is declined.
- No cooperation may require a physical presence in Afghanistan, Iran, or Pakistan, or contact that would place a person there at risk.
- Partners receive the method alongside the finding. An assessment that cannot be checked is not a deliverable.
- Attribution is by agreement in both directions. Neither side names the other without consent.
Discuss a commission
We are glad to set out how a specific question could be addressed within our compliance framework, and what a deliverable would look like. Initial conversations are without obligation.
